Ahiru ("Duck") Daiko was founded in 2010 by Meredith Wood, Moira Gion, and Andrea Asai as the University of Oregon's Japanese drumming ensemble. We are committed to practicing the art form of taiko and sharing taiko music with the UO and Eugene community through performance and collaboration. We strive to inspire future students to join us in our love for taiko and to keep this tradition alive for many years to come. GO DUCKS!
