Utsu Hachijo

Utsu Hachijo is about Hachijo-jima, an island that was once used as a place of exile. It is said that exiled samurai would drum and sing on the island to express their longing for home.​

Korekara

Korekara means “from now on,” and was composed for the 2005 North American Taiko Conference, acknowledging the rich history of taiko pioneers, and the hopefulness of what the taiko art form will become in the future.

Matsuri
